Chelsea Handler treated sideman Chuy Bravo, a little person, like "a slave or a pet," according to former friend Heather McDonald.

According to Radar Online, McDonald and fellow Chelsea Lately alums Jo Koy and Chris Franjola appeared on the Fairly Normal Handler With Josh Wolf podcast last month and said Handler's relationship with Bravo was "wrong."

"The whole relationship on the show between Chelsea and Chuy was so wrong and so inappropriate -- basically like she owned a slave or a pet," McDonald said on the podcast. "People didn't care because the little people were just so happy that a little person had a job, that she was a supporter of little people."

The beef broke out after McDonald told the podcast Allegedly that she "lived in fear" during her time on Handler's late-night show on E!. Handler fired back at her former friend on Howard Stern's radio show, claiming McDonald sold stories to the tabloids about her, causing her to withdraw from the friendship.

On Fairly Normal, McDonald said she stopped trying to be friends with Handler after a while after they got into a fight.

"We had a text fight. She never wanted to see me in person after that. I never was able to explain myself and I just felt like that's her M.O. when she wants to get rid of someone," McDonald said, according to TheCelebrityAuction. "I tried once more and I was like, that's it. I was too afraid to reach out again and get something so horrific back that it would be debilitating. I was like, I don't want to open myself up to a debilitating, mean email. I'd rather it be dead."
