The youngest member of the Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter finally acknowledges his faults and apologizes to fans via tweeter on Saturday to apologize for the bar fight at Hog's Breath Saloon in Key West that resulted in his arrest on Jan. 13th. He was arrested and charged with a misdeamenor battery count, before being released.

Carter posted, "I am human and at times it can be a struggle to balance a healthy lifestyle. I'm not perfect and for that I am sorry," says Yahoo. The 35-year-old singer and wife Lauren Kitt are expecting a baby boy and apparently has had a well known battle with alcohol and drug abuse.

Ironically, Carter's parents Robert and Jane owned a bar in upstate New York called, the Yankee Rebel. Billboard magazine reported that Nick and Michael Papayan were prohibited from entering the bar when the fight broke out. "Police report state that Carter allegedly punched a bouncer while Papayans reportedly head-butted another employee. The report indicates that Carter was intoxicated and slurring his words at the time of the incident."

The "Now or Never" singer has had some success on the 21st season of Dancing With The Star's last year with parter Sharna Burgess, making the finals and coming in second place. It was during his tenure on the hit dance show that Nick and Lauren discovered they were expecting.

So far, a court date has not been made public, but for now it seems the boy band star is more interested that the show X-Files is back, as he has tweeted about his joy just hours ago!
