Harry Potter author and awesome lady all-around, J.K. Rowling recently took a very swift swab at GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump by referring to Katrina Pierson, the billionaire's spokeswoman, as a Death Eater on Twitter. Of course, by association, if one of the politician's "followers" is a Death Eater, that would make Trump Lord Voldemort!

According to Vanity Fair, the British author dug up an old tweet by Pierson in which the Tea Party activist attacked the birth of 2012 presidential candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, pointing out that they both had fathers who'd been born outside of U.S. borders. To make her point, she asked if there were any "pure breeds" still in the country.

Responding to the tweet, Rowling retweeted by adding a perfect five-word comment: "Death Eaters walk among us."

In Harry Potter lore, Death Eaters, those creepy guys with masks and snake tattoos on their arms, are the followers of Lord Voldemort, and they refer to people with no muggles/no majs among their ancestors as "pure bloods." Of course, many comparisons have been drawn between the Harry Potter villain and the figure of Adolf Hitler, as they were both obsessed with blood purity even with dubious purity in their own backgrounds.

Some characters included there are Peter Pettigrew (the guy who sold out Harry's parents to Voldemort) as well as the Malfoys.

People Magazine reports that this is hardly the first time that Rowling addresses talks about the similarities between Trump and Voldemort. Last December, the author responded to a BBC tweet comparing the fictional character and the billionaire-turned-politician, and Rowling made her stand on The Donald fairly clear: the mass murdering wizard was "nowhere near as bad."

Although Trump continues to be popular in the polls, his announcement that he'd build a wall on the Mexican border and would ban Muslims from entering America  was controversial to say the least. Nobel Prize winner, Malala, condemned him for his comments.
