J.K. Rowling recently took to Twitter to surprise her legion of fans and debunk some Harry Potter theories. Choosing a select few, Rowling answered questions about her popular characters like Draco Malfoy, Ron Weasley and Professor Snape.

A fan questioned if Dumbledore was in fact Ron Weasely traveling in time as an older man.

Rowling was quick to dismiss that one.

Another fan questioned if misunderstood villian, Draco Malfoy, is a werewolf. Rowling denied the rumor and also added that Professor Snape is not a vampire. Although his all-black attire, pale skin and infamous cold demeanor would make you think otherwise.

Speaking of Professor Snape, a fan inquired about his scent

Rowling responded, "Bitterness and old shoes."

This past summer, Rowling shared many Harry Potter secrets and updates on Twitter. Her upcoming film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is slated to hit theaters in 2016 and is already gaining interest amongst her avid reading fans. Rowling chose to spend the summer sharing updates about the project.

She even live-tweeted Harry's eldest son, James Sirius Potter's first day of school on Sept. 1, announcing that he was, as suspected, sorted into Gryffindor and that Teddy Lupin was named Head of Hufflepuff. She later shared that Hufflepuff earned the House Cup on Pottermore and stated, "This is starting to feel like the dawn of the Age of Hufflepuff..."

Rowling has also addressed real-life topics that strike a chord with her. When UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and Harry Potter actress, Emma Watson, launched the HeForShe Campaign at the United Nations, Rowling tweeted her support in a creative way. In response to a fan questioning if Watson's character, Hermione Granger, would be proud of her speech, Rowling responded, "She'd be extremely proud. Emma's speech was incredible."
