Yes, the Denver Broncos beat the New England Patriots on Sunday in the AFC Championship game. And yes, the Broncos will go to the Super Bowl. And yes, Peyton Manning is the first quarterback to lead multiple teams to multiple Super Bowl's. But the biggest story after Sunday's game wasn't any of that. Instead, it was a different Manning stealing the show--no, not Eli--Peyton's 4-year-old son Marshall.

After the game Manning made his way to the podium to answer questions and recap the game as he would in any other game. But this time it was different; he brought a plus-1--Marshall.

Much of the time Marshall took a reserved position, either behind the podium or behind Peyton, kindly letting his father enjoy all the plaudits he so deserved.

It was great.

Young Marshall will turn five in March. We can expect to see plenty of this--and probably the addition of Marshall's twin sister, Mosley--in the buildup to Super Bowl 50; which is sure to be equally great.

As for Marshall's dad, he became the oldest quarterback to lead his team to football's ultimate stage. A tremendous achievement considering he was playing the role of backup a few weeks ago.

"It's a tremendous honor," Manning said, per CBSDenver. "It's been a special four years playing in Denver for these great fans and for this great organization. To be going to our second Super Bowl in four years is very special and just an awesome effort."

The Broncos will meet the Carolina Panthers in Santa Clara in two weeks time. Carolina will almost certainly enter the game as favorites, perhaps even more so after their thumping of the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday night in the NFC Championship game.
