In some of the most bizarre news of the week, Paramount Pictures and other production companies are being sued by parking production assistants for being "forced to urinate and defecate into bottles and buckets in their vehicles," according to court documents. The plaintiffs worked on films such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Wolf of Wall Street and the lawsuit claims that poor working conditions forced them to resort to pooping in their own cars.

The lawsuit claims that Paramount, Nickelodeon Movies, Regency Films and other studios more or less forced the PPAs to go to the restroom in their cars because they were not allowed to leave their posts during filming. They also state that they had "limited access" to the restroom, and that they could only go "when and if the production [was] in the midst of filming."

In documents attained by The Wrap, the plaintiffs state, "Due to limitations on their ability to leave their assigned locations, many of the Plaintiffs are forced to urinate and defecate into bottles and buckets in their vehicles."

However, the bathroom issue is not the only things the PPAs are upset about. The suit also alleges that the aforementioned production companies required them to work anywhere from 60 to 100 hours per week without overtime pay.

The PPAs also claim that they were not given food or any compensation for food, and despite other people being allowed to eat on set, they were not given the same right. They were also reportedly paid just $150 per day on average for a 12-hour day.

Furthermore, the plaintiffs allege that during cold weather conditions they were forced to run their cars to keep themselves warm, but were never compensated for the gas used during those times.

The PPAs are seeking pay for the damages and compensation they believe they lost during their time working for the companies.

Paramount and the other companies have yet to comment on the lawsuit.
