Sarah Paulson, 'AHS' Goes From Horror Story to Crime Story in FX's New O.J. Simpson Drama

If she can juggle two heads, why can't she juggle two shows? American Horror Story star, Sarah Paulson has simultaneously been filming leading roles on AHS: Hotel while filming for the upcoming new drama, The People vs. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story on FX. Catch Paulson give a riveting performance as the prosecuting attorney Marcia Clark during the series premiere on Tuesday at 10pm.

Sarah Paulson, the Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG nominated actress is proving her talents on a whole new level. By day she is head prosecutor, Marcia Clark on American Crime Story and by night, she is Hypodermic Sally on American Horror Story. For the past 5 months, Paulson has been working as the ultimate balancing act playing two very different roles on two very different shows.

Paulson shared with Variety that Marcia Clark was her dream role and she has been fully invested in the opportunity since she got the first call from producer Ryan Murphy. After doing extensive research on the Marcia's life as well as the entire O.J. Simpson case, Paulson fully embodies the role on screen, connecting in both a physical and an emotional  way.

"There have been very few roles where I've finished and gone to my trailer and just wept like a baby," said Paulson.

The People vs. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story is a 10-episode anthology series on FX about the notorious murder trial of O.J. Simpson, inspired by the book "The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson" by Jeffrey Toobin. The series gives a first hand look at how difficult the legal team's battles were during the trial to convict or acquit the famous football player of a double homicide.
