Remember that awesome scene from X-Men: Days of Future Past when Quicksilver saved Professor X, Magneto and Wolverine? Evan Peters' character was the true scene-stealer in what became the most memorable scene of the film. But will X-Men: Apocalypse be able to top Quicksilver's iconic slo-mo sequence this May?

Peters believes it could happen. The American Horror Story actor recently spoke to JoBlo, where the topic of Quicksilver's Days of Future Past scene was brought up. He admitted that, that particular scene was the one thing that Apocalypse was aiming to do better.

"Yeah, I think that's been the hardest thing," Peters said.

It's understandable why the jaw-dropping scene is difficult to surpass. Here's a clip to refresh your memory:

But will Quicksilver's new scene actually be better in Apocalypse? The actor said that he had little to do with it and praised the team that worked so hard on the sequence.

"They did such a f--king awesome job. The special effects team is amazing," Peters said, adding that he had very little to contribute to the success of the scene.

"I was just a minion," he admitted. "They just told me what to do so I didn't really have much to do with it but I was curious to see how they were going to top it and if they could and I think they have. I'm very excited to see it myself. I'm excited for everybody to see it because we've been working hard on it."

There is no word on whether the new Quicksilver scene will still feature James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Hugh Jackman, but there is a possibility that it will be a longer and bigger sequence involving more X-Men characters.

X-Men: Apocalypse is directed by Bryan Singer and will mark the return of Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique. The film is scheduled for release on May 27.
