The Office actor John Krasinski has recently proven that he can be an action star in the Michael Bay flick 13 Hours. However, Marvel wasn't exactly impressed with the actor when he auditioned for the role of Captain America back in 2010 and offered the part to Chris Evans instead. Now Krasinski is planning to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe: by being the bad guy!

Krasinski recently spoke to DigitalSpy, where he expressed interest in being a part of MCU.

"Yeah! I'll take a Marvel movie anytime," Krasinski said. "I mean, I love watching them, so I'd love to be a part of it."

The actor, who recently announced that he is expecting his second child with Sicario's Emily Blunt, also offered a few details about his Captain America audition. In addition to that, he admitted that he was excited for the man who would eventually portray Steve Rogers.

"The Captain America thing was hilarious," Krasinski said. "As much as I had so much fun doing it, and I definitely got to wear the suit and screen tested and all those things, and sign my life away that I wouldn't even talk about it so they're going to kill me now, thanks -- but as soon as I heard that Chris was considering it, I applauded it. Chris is a good friend, and very, very good at what he does. I was so happy to see him do it."

Krasinski may be a gracious loser to Evans, but that doesn't mean he isn't interested in going up against Captain America soon. The actor also revealed that he wants to work with Evans, but as a Marvel baddie.

"Maybe now I have to play a villain, where I fight Chris," he said. "That's what we need to do."

From the looks of it, Krasinski might have what it takes to take on Captain America. See him in action in the 13 Hours trailer below:
