'OITNB's' Taryn Manning Accused of Attacking Former Make-Up Artist Holly Hartman

Holly Hartman, Taryn Manning's former make-up artist, has just filed a retraining order against the Orange is the New Black star, alleging the actress had assaulted her on many occasions. Not unlike her TV character, Litchfield inmate Pennsatucky, Manning reportedly attacked Hartman and even dared the make-up artist to stab her, in a disturbing real-life story.

Hartman recently shared her side of the story with TMZ, recounting how she'd filed a restraining order against Manning after a number of brawls, the most recent of which allegedly occurred last November in New York City, when they were both in the actress' apartment. Hartman says Manning attacked her viciously, including headbutting her in the face, whipping her with a towel, putting her in a headlock and even spraying Windex in her face.

Hartman claims that Manning even asked her to stab her.

"Pick a knife. I'm wearing a white shirt there will be a lot of blood. You will be famous for killing Taryn Manning," said the actress according to her former make-up artist.

Hartman filed the restraining order in Los Angeles, but due to the fact that the attacks she described happened in NYC, the judge denied the application. It's still unclear whether she will re-file in New York.

On her part, Manning has already denied all allegations.

"The court has already denied the request by Ms. Hartman for a temporary restraining order," Manning's representatives told E! Online regarding the recent controversy. "The application for the order is suspect because Ms. Manning has had no contact with Ms. Hartman in many months due to Ms. Hartman's actions against Ms. Manning, which are currently under criminal investigation in multiple jurisdictions."

This isn't the first time that Manning and Hartman are involved in an unpleasant legal battle of this kind. Though they've apparently been friends for a long time, back in 2012, Manning was arrested for attacking Hartman, though the charges were ultimately dropped.
