America's Favorite Actor List: Tom Hanks Comes out on Top (Again); See Who Else Made It!

The annual list of America's favorite actors is in, and for the fifth time, Tom Hanks came out on top. Hanks tops the list after holding the no. 5 spot last year. Despite the fact he was not nominated for Best Actor, his film, Bridge of Spies, was nominated for Best Picture at this year's Oscars. Hanks was not the only one who made the list, though, which factors in America's top 10 choices. See who else made the list below!

Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington (who was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award at this year's Golden Globes), John Wayne and Harrison Ford round out the top five. The only women to make the list were Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lawrence and Julia Roberts. Clint Eastwood and Brad Pitt also made the list.

Meryl Streep and Angelina Jolie fell off of the list from last year.

The Harris Poll, which calculates the results each year, is conducted online within the U.S. This year, 2,252 adults over the age of 18 voted in the poll.

The Harris Poll notes that some of the actors also had a perfect endorsement score, which they refer to as an "N-Score." Hanks, Washington and Bullock have perfect N-scores among all adults. Ford and Roberts earn the same credentials, but specifically in the 35-plus age group. Johnny Depp had a perfect score amongst Millennials and Jennifer Lawrence ranks best amongst Generation Z.
