Super Bowl 50 will be giving fans of the late Alan Rickman an unexpected treat when the TV spot for the actor's last film, Alice Through the Looking Glass, airs during Sunday's game. Disney has just released the teaser where Rickman, who provided the voice for Absolem the Caterpillar, narrates the short teaser that urges Mia Wasikowska's Alice to hurry back to Wonderland!

The Alice Through the Looking Glass Super Bowl TV spot is only 30 seconds long, but it opens with Rickman's distinctive voice sending a message for Wonderland's absentee heroine.

"You've been gone too long, Alice," the Caterpillar says. "There are matters which cannot be neglected." The teaser shows Alice trying to find her way, pushing through the Looking Glass and eventually falling back into Wonderland. "Hurry," Absolem urges.

Although the TV spot features mostly footage from the first trailer, there is a sequence where the Red Queen Iracebeth of Crims (Helena Bonham Carter) cries out a new spin on her trademark line, "I want her head!"

Rickman was also the voice of Absolem in Tim Burton's 2010 Alice in Wonderland.  The Caterpillar's voice role will be his final film role to be viewed on screen following his death on January 14.  Rickman was 69 when he died from pancreatic cancer.

Alice Through the Looking Glass is directed by James Bobin and produced by Burton. The film also stars longtime Burton collaborator Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Sacha Baron Cohen as Time and Rhys Ifans as the Mad Hatter's father. Other voice talents include Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat, Michael Sheen as the White Rabbit and Timothy Spall as Bayard the Bloodhound.

Watch out for Rickman as the Caterpillar in Alice Through the Looking Glass, which will premiere on May 27.
