Even though Secret Wars is over  and the Ultimate Universe is gone, Marvel Comics has big plans for Miles Morales, the amazing wall-crawler. Step aside Peter Parker because writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sarah Pichelli has something special for our Marvel superhero in Spider-Man #1.

As we previously mentioned, the first issue of Secret Wars brought about the destruction of the Ultimate Universe. Miles Morales and the rest of the Marvel lineup found themselves stranded and fighting each other in Battleworld. In the fifth installment of Ultimate End, the entire world went white again as Miles joined the rest of the Marvel superheroes against Doctor Doom. Now that 8 months have passed, what has risen from the aftermath of Secret Wars?

We have 5 reasons why we're excited to read Spider-Man #1 here:

5) The Creative Team Reunited!

Making the switch from Peter Parker to Miles Morales, the Powers writer and the Guardians of the Galaxy artist first collaborated during their Ultimate Spider-Man run. The creative team brought out the feels and superhero action during the death of Ultimate Universe's Peter Parker. This isn't like Old Man Logan who knows he's not from this world; Miles believes he has always been Peter Parker's protege.

4) A Fresh New Start!

At the end of Ultimate End, Miles Morales wakes up and discovers himself in Earth-616. Memories of Secret Wars have been wiped out from his mind. What will happen if Miles starts to remember? His mother, who died at the hands of Venom, is alive and Uncle Ben is still dead! I'm scared thinking, what happens if Mile starts to remember what happened before?

3) A Teen Superhero!

Peter Parker is now an adult and is way too old to be having teen angst, but not Miles. Notice how Morales has to juggle between going to school and saving the Big Apple at the same time. Can he still go to the prom and fight the Big Bad? Or is he going to miss his high school graduation like Parker did?

2) Where's Aunt May?

This critic actually preferred the younger version of Aunt May in the Ultimate Universe. This Aunt May was more involved and fought back in her own way. Please tell this Aunt May is going to be around somewhat. But wait, if we're wondering if Aunt May is still around, does this mean Regent will fight Miles Morales?

1) Will There Be Spider-Men 2?

In the original Spider-Men, Peter Parker jumped through a portal and found himself in the Ultimate Universe, and met Miles Morales. Before Peter went back home, Miles asked him to look him up in his reality. Peter followed Miles' request and found something shocking on the computer screen. Will we ever find out what Peter saw?

Spider-Man #1 arrives in stores February  2, 2016.
