Freddy Krueger 'Nightmare On Elm Street' 2016 Valentine's Day Marathon On El Rey Network!

El Rey Network is bringing back slasher Freddy Krueger from the dead this 2016 Valentine's Day Weekend. Get ready to never sleep again as a Nightmare on Elm Street marathon sneaks its way into your dreams and "Rips Your Heart Out."

According to Dread Central, El Rey Network is holding its third annual "Rip Your Heart Out" Valentine's Day Marathon. This V-Day marathon includes five of the classic Nightmare on Elm Street flicks. Bone-chilling episodes from the iconic 1988 series. Freddy's Nightmares ill also be aired. The entire weekend will be hosted by the horror icon of the franchise, the man behind the mask, Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund.

In our MStars News interview, Jamie Kenndy discusses working with the Scream director, who recently passed away and started off the first installment, "Wes Craven, God rest his soul- I remember we were doing Scream, he told me that people need to be scared just as much as they need to laugh. It's another emotion. People like to laugh and people like to get scared. And I think those movies connect with people. People think what if I was in that situation? I think we all have those childhood fears instilled in us, and they come out in different ways."
