No matter where you watched the Super Bowl--at the bar, your friends house, or on a remote island somewhere in the Caribbean enjoying a beverage with a tiny umbrella in it--it most certainly pales in comparison to how American astronaut Scott Kelly took in the game; he watched from space.

Kelly is currently enjoying a year long mission in space. With the permission of NASA, he was able to take off from his space-man duties on Sunday, jetting on over to the International Space Station--where he served as host to a party of one (too bad, cause the man would have served nachos!). He had the game pulled up on TV and even--at one point--was able to catch a glimpse of the game in person.

Kelly is approaching the end of his year-long mission, having arrived in space in March of 2015.

As for the game Kelly was watching--you know, the Super Bowl between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers--it turned out to be a real slug fest. Von Miller and the rest of the Broncos defense harassed Cam Newton and the high powered Panthers offense all night, ultimately propelling the team from the mile high city to a 24-10 victory.

The championship also served as Peyton Manning's 200th victory in the NFL. Afterward, the long time quarterback gave his thoughts on the contest in a post game interview.

"This game was much like this season has been, testing our toughness, our resiliency, our unselfishness," Manning said. "It's only fitting that it turned out that way."

The victory also meant that Manning became the first man in league history to win Super Bowls with two different franchises.

As for 39-year-old's future in the league, he had this to say:

"I'll take some time to reflect," he said. "I got a couple priorities first. I'm going to go kiss my wife and my kids. ... I'm going to drink a lot of Budweiser tonight."

Spoken like a true Patriot--American patriot, that is (sorry, Tom Brady).
