Justin Bieber is serious about the new direction with his career. After having a lot of questionable events occur throughout the start of his career such as peeing in a mop bucket, endless women drama and multiple run-ins with law enforcement, the 21-year-old has matured and it looks really well on him. The Canadian heartthrob is GQ Magazine's new cover star for their March issue and the singer opened up to the magazine about a variety of topics including his hit song "Sorry."

The Biebs has been a hot topic in the media for quite sometime. From rumors of him dating Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to him and his ex-girlfriend singer Selena Gomez getting back together and stepping out with Hailey Baldwin, the singer has decided to tone it down. He is showing the world that he has grown up.

The 21-year-old is committed to making more responsible decisions. The singer who traded his usual T-shirt and jeans for a more sophisticated look shines throughout the magazine. The Biebs dons a variety of colorful suits with a classic touch for the perfect classic yet sharp look that speaks to the new direction he's taking. We all can't seem to get the song "Sorry" out of our heads. While listening to the lyrics and knowing the 21-year-olds history in dating, most of us can easily believe that it's a personal apology for all the bad that he's done. Surprsingly the singer told GQ otherwise.

"People ran with that," Bieber tells GQ. "I was like apologizing with that song and stuff. It really had nothing to do with that.... It was about a girl."

The Biebs is manning up and apologizing was less about forgiveness and more about acknowledging his past mistakes.

"Everyone when they start growing up realizes, Man, I did some dumb sh*t when I was younger," the singer explains. "It's not just me ... if I could go back I wouldn't really change much. I think it's all my journey. That stuff made me who I am."
