Rosie O'Donnell, Drake Twitter Miscommunication: Talk Show Host Tweets Admiration for Disney Star and 'Splash' Contestant Drake Bell, Rapper Drake Thinks It Was For Him

Well that is embarrassing. Rapper Drake just recently made the mistake of assuming talk show host Rosie O'Donnell was complimenting him. It appears that Drake likes to think he is the only famous "Drake" around. Which he found recently, isn't the case. The embarrassing mistake took place on Twitter over the weekend, when Rosie was paying a compliment to Disney star Drake Bell, which rapper Drake took to mean him.

This is how the entire Twitter interaction and miscommunication went down. On Wednesday March 27, Rosie O'Donnell (@Rosie) tweeted, "Drake is cute ... Nice muscles." Now most people would probably first think of Drake the rapper, which is what Drake the rapper did. Drake (@Drake) tweeted on Friday March 29, "Life goal #6 accomplished." A few minutes later he tweeted again, "The fact that Rosie O'Donnell knows who I am is probably best feeling ever. I'm gonna casually tell 2 chainz after he's done this verse." This is great, except for the fact that Rosie wasn't tweeting about this Drake, but the 26-year-old former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell.

So then someone named @RealKyleKoz tweeted, "@Rosie: Drake is cute ... Nice muscles" watch out @AmandaBynes, she's movin in on your man. #ThreeSome." This caused Rosie to tweet back, "@RealKyleKoz @amandabynes - DRAKE FROM JOSH N DRAKE ON NICKELODEON !!!! NOT THE SINGER - THE GUY ON THE DIVING SHOW !!!" Obviously Rosie didn't want to deal with whatever drama Amanda Bynes would have brought to the table with this whole alleged Drake infatuation thing she has going on.

When she says "the diving show" Rosie is referring ABC's new reality show "Splash," which features celebrities like Drake Bell diving. This must be disappointing news for the rapper Drake who clearly was thrilled to have thought Rosie meant him. Although, it does sound like Rosie knows who Drake the rapper is because she later tweeted, "@VirgoSister @drake - but - I do think the rapper/singer drake is a QTpa2T - also with nice muscles ..." after @VirgoSister tweeted at the rapper Drake letting him know the bad news.

As of Monday April 1 Drake hasn't tweeted anything new about his Rosie O'Donnell mistake. Maybe he is embarrassed?
