Hugh Hefner's son Cooper has spoken out about Playboy's new no-nudes policy, and he's not happy about it. Cooper Hefner sees the board's recent decision forgo naked pictorials as a slap in the face to his dad, founder of the brand, and doesn't believe the photos are an issue for millennials.

Though Cooper Hefner is only 24, he has been tapped to one day replace his dad place as the Playboy brand ambassador. However, as he told Business Insider recently, while Cooper still has a stake in Playboy, the recent decisions to drop the nudity and sell the iconic Playboy Mansion came from the company's board.

"I was in the boardroom when the conversation was being had about whether we should go non-nude with the magazine as well as the company, and I didn't agree with the decision because I felt as though millennial and Gen Y didn't view nudity as the issue," Cooper told the website. "The issue was the way in which the nudity and the girls were portrayed."

People magazine reports that, regarding the said he understands the financial reasons for selling the mansion, his father's home, Cooper Hefner said it made no sense to him as a company move. Cooper specified that his concern was making sure that there was "a company that people cared about in 15 years."

During the interview, the Playboy heir also said he has been asked to stop attending board meetings because of his vocal disagreements with CEO Scott Flanders.

In the meantime, Hef's youngest is focused on his own company, Hop, a "content-focused media brand geared toward millennials."
