Kendrick Lamar News: 'Poetic Justice' Rapper Announces 2013 Tour Dates, MTV's 'Hottest MC' Promotes 'Good Kid, M.A.A.D City' Album, Includes Colleges, Governor's Ball

Rapper Kendrick Lamar figures to be one of the most in-demand concerts this summer after topping MTV's "Hottest MCs in the Game" list. The "Poetic Justice" rapper surprised a lot of people when he beat out fellow rappers such as Kanye West, Rick Ross, and 2 Chainz for the honor.The Compton hip-hop star also has a hit album titled, Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City out and he now is embarking on a tour to promote his latest album.

Lamar will be hitting up 32 cities, including a number of colleges while promoting his latest album. Among the stops along the way includes the Governor's Ball on June 7 in New York, which will also feature Kanye West. Lamar will be going to 15 colleges across the nation including Florida State University, UNC, Ohio State University, Duke University, UConn and many others.

Joining Lamar on tour for a number of the tour dates will be DJ and producer Steve Aoki. According to VIBE, the tour began March 29 in Las Vegas and it runs until June 29 in Los Angeles, CA. Check out all of Lamar's tour dates starting from today, April 1 below.
