Season 5 of Suits aired its summer finale on USA Network. In episode 11 through 13, this is the perfect opportunity to check out how Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) dealt with the aftermath of Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty)'s split.

As we previously mentioned, Harvey (Macht) wasn't doing so well when Donna made her decision to leave him. To make matters worse, Donna left Harvey and then became Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman)'s secretary. Though Donna has made her choice, Harvey and Louis have become bitter enemies, just when a bigger threat, Daniel Hardman (David Costabile), is planning to hit the firm with all he's got. In the aftermath though, no one could have expected the handcuffs being placed on Mike.

Check out our 5 thoughts on episodes 11 through 13 of Suits:

3) That Fight!

In "Blowback," Mike is being charged with fraud and finds himself in an interrogation room with U.S. attorney Anita Gibbs (Leslie Hope). On the one hand, yeah she is right; Mike isn't a real lawyer. On the other, Gibbs doesn't want the small fry, she wants the whole enchilada. Gibbs wants to bring down Harvey. Creator/showrunner Aaron Korsh has come up with a character you can root for and against at the same time.

2) The Snitch Revealed!

In "Live to Fight," Louis discovered it was actually his former love, Sheila (Rachael Harris), who got Gibbs' attention. At first, this critic was like, "Sheila who!?!" Never in my mind did her name pop up. I had to re-watch episodes to remember who Sheila was. This writer assumes that was the point, to get viewers to binge-watch previous seasons.

1) You Don't Mess With Rachel!

In "God's Green Earth," Mike can handle himself in a room with Rachel (Meghan Markle)'s father. Mike can deal with Gibbs in the courtroom. But when the dean threatens to expel Rachel, thanks to Gibbs, oh man Mike just loses his mind. Patrick J. Adams has done a great job portraying a good man on the brink of disaster.

Bonus: Poor Jessica!

The writers on this show found a way to bring back Jeff (D.B. Woodside). Jessica and Jeff still have feelings for each other but the firm just gets in the way. Jeff even confronts Mike and yells at him; he's the reason their relationship ended. Did you notice how D.B. Woodside was just plain cool as he composed himself and said, "But you didn't know that?"

Bonus: Call Me Maybe?

Scottie (Abigail Spencer) returned, and it turned out she's also in therapy. Harvey admitted that they broke up not because of Mike, but because of his personal issues. When this is all over, Harvey admitted he just wants to pick up the phone and call her. He asks, "Can I call you?" I'm not crying, you're crying!

The fifth season of Suits continues Wednesdays 9 p.m. on USA.
