'Batman v Superman' SPOILERS: Will Dan Amboyer Play Hal Jordan/Green Lantern?

Fans are already expecting to see the Justice League in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice after director Zack Snyder confirmed that Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ray Fisher's Cyborg and Ezra Miller's The Flash will appear in small cameos. However, some fans still believe that Green Lantern will also make an appearance, and he might be played by Younger star Dan Amboyer!

Although Amboyer's character is listed as a "Lieutenant Christie," there are speculations that he will actually play Hal Jordan and that the superhero will be introduced in Batman v Superman in preparation for Green Lantern Corps. Amboyer recently spoke to Pop Sugar, where he admitted that he may not be a huge comic book fan but he has auditioned for other superhero roles before landing the mysterious part in BvS.

"I had an appreciation from the outside, but I never got deep into it. But I've become more interested in it and it's strange because I have started to audition for more of that stuff," Amboyer said before admitting that he actually tried out for the roles of Justice League members.

"I auditioned to play Superman in Man of Steel originally and I auditioned for The Flash," he revealed. "I've constantly been coming back to these characters."

But will he finally play someone from the Justice League in Batman v Superman? The actor chose to keep quiet about his mystery role, saying that he has been told not to "say anything" about his character. However, he did offer a hint that Lieutenant Christie might not be the character's real name.

"It does appear, but it's kind of an undercover thing," Amboyer said. "The name appears on me at one point."

Amboyer might not be able to confirm whether his character is actually Hal Jordan, but he did share some interesting information about director Zack Snyder.

"I don't know if people know this, but he's really big about fitness on set, even as far as catering," he confirmed. "So, he's always encouraging healthy food, which is great. He even makes you do push-ups in between takes."
