File this under the "way too much awesome" tag. Beyonce and Andre 3000 are covering the late Amy Winehouse's song "Back to Black" for Baz Luhrmann's film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby," which stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby. If one of those words in the previous sentence didn't make you happy, you are dead inside.

The Beyonce/Andre 3000 cover of the British singers famed track will appear on the soundtrack to the film, which is set to make its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 15.

"It's a very different take on 'Back to Black,'" an unnamed source at Interscope Records told E! Online. "Back to Black" was the title track off of troubled Winehouse's last studio album, which netted her a Grammy.

Andre and Bey have worked together previously on Beyonce's single "Party" off of the album 4.

The final track listing for the "Great Gatsby" soundtrack has not been set, though Beyonce's inclusion is no surprise. The souindtrack is being produced by hubby Jay-Z. The trailer for the film contains snippets of Jigga's Watch The Throne track "No Church in the Wild" and a Jack White cover of U2's "Love is Blindness."

Luhrmann has made a bit of a habit of throwing anachronistic music into his films.  The director included Radiohead songs in his modern Shakespeare retelling "Romeo + Juliet" and the entirety of 2001 film "Moulin Rouge" included modern songs in turn-of-the-century France, including "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and the lady supergroup cover of Patti Labelle's "Lady Marmalade."

Gatsby is set in the 20s, but should have no shortage of contemporary background music.

Gatsby was due out at the end of 2012, but production delays forced the release to move back to Cannes. On top of Leo, the film also stars Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgarton, Isla Fisher, Jason Clarke and Carey Mulligan as crucial love interest, Daisy.

What do you think? Are you excited to hear Beyonce and Andre 3000 cover Amy  Winehouse's "Back in Black"? Are you pumped for the movie release of The Great Gatsby?
