After years of feuding over professional issues as well as personal, it seems like pop superstars Taylor Swift and Katy Perry might be on their way to patching things up once more. As this Monday's 2016 Grammy Awards approach, it has been revealed that the "Roar" singer has invited Swift, who reportedly wrote "Bad Blood" about her, to her pre-awards show party organized by Spotify.

According to Billboard, Perry hosted a pre-Grammy party with Spotify directed only at artists. The guest list counted not only Swift (who's withdrawn her own music from the streaming site) but also Adele, who hasn't placed her latest album, megahit 25, on the platform just yet.

When asked if she thought the two singers would attend the event, Perry told The New York Times that it was "up to their schedules."

It's still unclear whether either Adele or Swift attended the bash, but one thing is certain: this could be a major step in the long-running Perry-Swift feud.

Once photographed together with some frequency, the two singers haven't spoken directly for a few years. There has been vast media speculation about their strained relationship, particularly after Swift told Rolling Stone that she'd realized that another pop star had pretended to be her friend and then "tried to sabotage an entire arena tour."

Barely the day after that interview, Perry took to Twitter to post a cryptic message about a "Regina George in sheep's clothing," referencing Rachel McAdams' character in Mean Girls in a comment that everybody saw as being about Swift.

Later on, Perry dated Swift's ex, John Mayer, on-and-off for a couple of years, which almost certainly made things even stranger between them.

These days, Perry and Swift are two of the biggest female pop stars right now with insanely successful careers, and neither of them is dating the "Your Body is a Wonderland" singer. Could they really reconcile soon?
