The CW Network has brought together the heroes and villains of the DC Comics in the superhero drama, DC's Legends of Tomorrow. This is the perfect opportunity to check out Sara Lance/White Canary (Caity Lotz) and Ray Palmer/The Atom (Brandon Routh) in episode 1 through 5.

As we previously mentioned, the stakes have risen so high that heroes alone are not enough. Having seen the apocalyptic future, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) is tasked with assembling a misfit group of heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat. To save time itself and the entire planet from destruction, can this ragtag team defeat the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump)?

1) They"re All Losers!

Rip reveals that the gang he put together aren't legends at all in the future. If any of them die, their deaths don't mean a thing. It won't matter if White Canary (Lotz) bites the big one, her death won't have an effect on the timeline. The Atom (Routh) should know how that feels. He came back from the dead and no one missed him.

2) The Death Count Begins!

Usually on Arrow and The Flash, a major death happens in the cast towards the season finale. Legends of Tomorrow changes all that, becomes Game of Thrones, and kills a major character in the second episode! How sad that with the death of Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee)'s true feelings for him finally came to light.

3) They're Doomed!

Because Vandal murdered his wife and son, Hunter will continue pursuing Savage until he's dead. Because Savage is immortal, Hunter can slit his throat over and over again. We learn in Blood Ties, not only has Rip been killing for centuries, Vandal has learned the names and faces of his family. They are both trapped in a never ending cycle of death.

4) The Yelling Match!

During White Knights, The best acting award goes to Victor Garber and Franz Drameh as they held their own ground while yelling at each other in character. Showing how Stein's relationship is different than Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell), Martin is afraid of losing his other half all over again. If Jax dies, Stein has to tell his single mother he's never coming home again.

5) A Female Firestorm!

In Fail-Safe, quite possibly, the sexiest and scariest moment happened when Valentina Vostock (Stephanie Corneliussen) merged with Martin Stein (Victor Garber). When Valentina's body was covered in fire, you comic book nerds were all thinking it...she looked like Jean Grey when The Phoenix took over. Lucky for Stein that he got the hell out of there when Valentina exploded and took out the entire prison camp.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow continues Thursdays at 8pm on the CW.
