William Balfour is currently serving life in prison after being found guilty of murdering three members of actress/singer Jennifer Hudson's family in 2008. While Hudson fully believes that he is responsible for murdering his family, Balfour is saying otherwise. In his first interview since his imprisonment, Balfour is saying that he "didn't have anything to do with the case."

This murder case was one of the most high-profile murder cases in relation to a celebrity. While the former American Idol contestant was high off her budding success, her mother, brother and nephew were brutally murdered. Balfour, who was Hudson's former brother-in-law, has never spoken out about the case until now.

According to an exclusive interview with ABC7 I-Team in Chicago, Balfour is ready to clear his name on his involvement with the brutal murders of Hudson's family members.

ABC7 reports that Balfour was immediately arrested on the day of the killings and never confronted by relatives or reporters. Trial lawyers instructed him that it was in his best interest to not testify.

According to the jury, they believed that the prosecution's evidence was sufficient enough for a guilty verdict. Hudson's nephew, who was abducted from the Chicago home, was found shot to death in a stolen SUV after the bodies of the other relatives were found. Police say that the keys to the SUV were found in Balfour's pocket. Witnesses also stepped forward saying that Balfour was seen with a black pistol like the one used in the murders.

After offering to talk to reporters, Balfour took the opportunity to clear his name.

"I didn't have nothing to do with the case," Balfour tells reporters. "I don't know who did the case."

Balfour claims that the whole case against him was a conspiracy. He says that the witness and the police all worked together in effort to pin him for the brutal crimes.

Balfour is currently serving his life sentence in an Illinois prison.
