Any newcomer to the film industry craves to be a part of a film that features A-list actors including the Khans. It was a fortunate opportunity for newcomer Waluscha De Sousa when she was signed to feature as a female lead in Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's Fan.

Sharing about her debut film with King Khan of Bollywood, De Sousa told The Indian Express, "It was an intimidating experience because you don't want to keep him waiting. You have to get the lines right and you work yourself up and get so nervous that you fumble anyway. But SRK is so calm and collected that he makes you feel really comfortable. Shooting with him was a wonderful experience. I have so much respect for him. He is so intelligent and hardworking."

De Sousa had to undergo a few training lessons for Fan but even with them under her belt, the actress didn't shy away from adding that she still can't let the feeling of doing her debut film with Khan actually sink in.

As it's her debut film, not many people are aware of her. According to ABP Live, De Sousa has been in the field of modeling for a long time and was also a participant in Femina Miss India 2000. She has featured in some endorsements and in 2002, she married choreographer March Robinson, however, the couple ended their married in 2012.

This isn't the first time when Khan has enacted with a debutant in the film. He has featured with newcomers like Anushka Sharma in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Deepika Padukone in Om Shanti Om.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Fan is a thriller-based film where Khan is seen performing a dual role: one as 25-year-old Gaurav and another one as 45-year-old actor Aryan Khanna. The film is said to be one of the most difficult films for Khan. It is expected to release in April 2016.
