It was a moment to rejoice for the Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently shooting Raees. He finally received his graduation degree in Economics from the Hansraj College in the Delhi University, after a span of 28 years.

Khan was in Delhi to launch the song of his upcoming film Fan, "Jabra Fan." To promote the film and the song, Khan and film's director Maneesh Sharma visited his alma mater. During the event, Khan was quoted by Economics Times as:

"This is a very special moment for me. I am back in my college, which I left in 1988. I am missing only one thing - my children are not with me today, as I wanted to show them every corner of my college."

Khan's college Principal, Rama Sharma, presented him with the degree and said that the entire institution is extremely proud of him.

"We are very happy to present him the degree after so many years. We had kept his degree safely in our college. We are proud to bestow him with it today," Sharma said.

Reminiscing his college days, Khan shared his happiness with the crowd gathered to have a glimpse of the actor. He tweeted, "What a beautiful day! Thank you university mates and faculty. Love to all for such a memorable emotional moment."

It was earlier reported by Mstars News that in the upcoming action-thriller film, Fan, Khan will be seen enacting two roles in the film, where one will be of a fan named Gaurav and another is the role of a superstar called Aryan Khanna.

Conversing about his acting experience in the film, the 50-year-old actor told NDTV Movies, "Maneesh would make me do stuff that I had done 20 years ago. And he would say, 'Arre, it's not the way it was then.' That's very unnerving when you know you have done it and you are doing the same and it's not good. Apart from that, you are playing two you's."

Acknowledging Fan movie director, Khan also tweeted, "Fan took me to Delhi, my younger days and today to my college. Thank you YRF and Maneesh. JABRA mazaa aayaa."

The film is slated to release on April 15, 2016.
