Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zac Efron spend a whole lot of time in the gym, and they've got the six-packs to prove it, which they flaunt proudly on Instagram. But their latest social media updates are photos from their Baywatch reboot -- and their abs are doing a pretty good job of marketing the movie!

Since last Monday, Efron and Johnson have been posting the first snaps from the Baywatch set, and things look as carefree and amusing as they did back when Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff were the ones saving saving lives on the beach.

In a shift from the days of the Hoff, the uniforms are a little different. The two actors in updated togs look a little more modern than their slo-mo-running predecessors.

Johnson will play Mitch Buchannon, originated by Hasselhoff, while High School Musical alum Efron will play Matt Brody, originated by David Charvet gave life to two decades ago.

There have been numerous incarnations of Baywatch, but it's been made clear the new film, supposedly an R-Rated comedy, will be based on the original lifeguards.

Production began this week, only days after Quantico star Priyanka Chopra was announced as part of the cast. Movie Web reports that Chopra's character appears so far to be the only one that doesn't come from the original series -- she will be playing  "Victoria Leeds."

Alexandra Daddario will be playing Summer (Nicole Eggert's role), Ilfenesh Hadera will play Stef (Alexandra Paul) and Kelly Rohrbach will get the Anderson-originated role of CJ Parker.

The Baywatch movie will be released in May of 2017.
