'Quantico' Star Priyanka Chopra Cast In Dwayne Johnson 'Baywatch' Movie Adaptation [WATCH]

After appearing in ABC's Quantico, Bollywood dazzling beauty, Priyanka Chopra has finally been cast with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in the movie adaptation of famous TV series, Baywatch.

After leggy lass Deepika Padukone created quite a buzz with her poster in XXX 3, opposite Hollywood action star Vin Diesel, it was time for the Chopra to cheer about her accomplishment. Chopra has already made her mark in the West now by launching her debut album In My City; appearing in a song featuring rapper Pitbull and also starring as the leading lady in ABC productions' Quantico.

It was first rumored that Chopra was in talks to star in a Hollywood movie. But now, recent development suggests that she is going to share the screen with Johnson in the movie adaptation of popular '90s show and is going to play the role of an antagonist.

Johnson took to the photo-sharing social media site, Instagram, to break the news about Chopra's entry in the movie. The photo features The Rock, alongside Chopra on a beach. Johnson wrote, "She's one of the biggest stars in the world. Insanely talented, relentlessly smokin' and extremely dangerous - perfect for #BAYWATCH. Welcome @PriyankaChopra to our bad ass and incredibly dysfunctional family."

The movie, which also features teen sensation Zac Efron in a prominent role, will see Chopra playing a gray shade. Johnson also announced about the same in his post on Instagram that though the former Miss World is so cool, she is even better as the bad girl. Chopra, who is clearly happy about bagging the role, took to Twitter to share the news.

According to a report in The Indian Express, Chopra is going gaga over her new achievement. She wrote on her social networking handle, "And it's time to tell you all officially! Baywatch it is! Being bad is what I do best!!! You better watch out!"

Chopra, who recently won many accolades in Bollywood by her splendid performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani with Ranveer Singh and Padukone, will start shooting for Baywatch by the beginning of next week.
