Just when Bollywood's leggy lass, Deepika Padukone hit headlines for grabbing her first ever Hollywood project XXX 3, there was a cheer from all across the industry and country for her. Now, the news is rife that the most sought after actress will get to share screen space with Brad Pitt.

After Anil Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Nimrat Kaur, who made a big mark in the West with their different portrayals in Hollywood projects, it is time for audiences to cheer for Padukone, as she is slowly and steadily charming her way into America's hearts and making her presence felt.

According to reports on PinkVilla, Padukone has been offered a role opposite Ocean's Eleven actor Pitt. She is said to have signed on the dotted line for the movie, the news of which hasn't been made public yet.

As soon as reports came live on the website, the social media was abuzz with congratulatory notes and cheers for the Piku star, who is currently busy shooting for the Vin Diesel starrer xXx: The Return of Xander Cage in Toronto, Canada, along with Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Kris Wu, Tony Jaa and Samuel L. Jackson in pivotal roles.

While the Tamasha actress will be seen playing Serena in the action film, Diesel is set to reprise his role of Xander Cage. The film directed by D J Caruso will see Diesel as the government operative Xander Cage, who had gone missing, but is back on the scene to save the day from a lethal weapon.

It was earlier reported by Mstars News that Diesel welcomed Padukone into his xXx family and invited the Indian actress over to his place for dinner, along with the star cast of the upcoming action drama. Padukone and the others had also shared pictures of the bash on their respective social media accounts.
