Ranveer Singh Lands in Paris For 'Befikre'; Startd Shooting With Vaani Kapoor? [WATCH]

Bajirao Mastani star Ranveer Singh, who is the current toast of Bollywood, is said to have landed in Paris for a film titled Befikre, opposite Shuddh Desi Romance actress Vani Kapoor. The film will be directed by Yash Raj Films' head and director Aditya Chopra.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Chopra, who last directed Rabne Bana Di Jodi, with his favourite star Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, opposite the former debutante Anushka Sharma, is set to return to filmmaking after a gap of 8 years. He first directed the blockbuster hit Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and later went on to direct two other super hit films -- Mohabbatein and Rabne Bana Di Jodi and with Befikre. He's also trying his hand at experimental cinema.

According to Indian Express, Befikre is touted as an avant-garde cinema, the first of its kind for the YRF banner. The filming of the big-budget movie is in its very early stages. It has yet to be confirmed as to what the new concept the producer-director has up for his audiences.

Singh and Kapoor, who made their debuts with YRF's Band Baaja Baaraat and Shuddh Desi Romance respectively, are being cast opposite each other for the first in the lead in the upcoming nu-experimental movie. The first leg of the movie schedule will be shot in Paris for a period of four months.

Singh, who is riding high on the success of his Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed movie Bajirao Mastani, for which he also received the Filmfare award for best actor, immediately took to social media networking sites Twitter and Instagram to share the news. The young actor is said to don the hat of a lover boy in the film, who will be seen wooing his lady love Kapoor in the most unusual manner.

Sporting a grey T-shirt in the Instagram photograph, with the quote 'Reigning Champ' on it, and a stubble, the actor was checked at the airport before he headed off to Paris to begin shooting for his new movie.
