It seems Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is trying to create as much hype as possible before the trailer release of his upcoming film Fan. Synonymous with a promotional campaign, Khan got his film's promotional song "Jabra Fan" sung in different languages to give an ode to his heroes including superstar Rajinikanth, filmmaker Late Yash Chopra, Mahatma Gandhi and ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

"Jabra Fan," also known as "Fan Anthem," has been dubbed in six different languages by six different singers. Tagging himself as one of the Rajinikanth fans, Khan tweeted, "Rajni Sir, I'm not a star, but just one of your countless fans Thalaiva. Proud to be your fan!" The Tamil version of "Fan Anthem" has been sung by Nakash Aziz.

This isn't the first track that Khan has dedicated to south Indian superstar. "Lungi Dance" song from the film Chennai Express was an exclusive tribute to Rajinikanth. According to Indian Express, Khan paid homage to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. Recalling Gandhi, he tweeted, "Gandhiji, The Father of the Nation is also the world's biggest star. The whole nation & the world is his fan!" Singer Arvind Vegda crooned the Gujarati version of the track.

Being the owner of Kolkata Knight Riders and state ambassador of Kolkata, a tribute was paid to the city in the voice of Bengali singer Anupam Roy.

A special version for Bhojpuri fans was released which was sung by Manoj Tiwari.

Khan also called himself as a big fan of Tendulkar and tweeted that no matter what the empire says, for him, Tendulkar will always be not out. Avadhoot Gupte sang the Marathi version of "Jabra Fan" for the cricketer.

Remembering his memories with filmmaker Late Chopra, Khan tweeted, "Yash Ji, no one has shown the purity of Punjabi culture like you did. This one's for you. I'm your eternal fan!" The Punjabi track has been sung by Harbhajan Mann.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Fan will release on April 15.
