Marvel's Daredevil Season 2 Promo: Charlie Cox, Elodie Yung Netflix Premiere Date, Trailer

Netflix has announced the official premiere date for the upcoming Season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil. In the latest promo of the sophomore season, check out Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Elektra Natchios (Elodie Young) in the second official trailer.

We previously mentioned, Netflix announced the second season of the Man Without Fear series. With executive producer Steven S. DeKnight stepping down, new showrunners Doug Petrie (American Horror Story) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy) have taken over the reins. The man without fear continues his crime-fighting adventures after defeating Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), which nearly came with a heavy cost.

The former Walking Dead actor will portray their most popular characters. The Punisher and Daredevil will become at odds over the differences between justice and vengeance. Known as the Greek Girl, Elektra (Elodie Yung) makes a surprise return into Murdock's life.

According to TV Line, Netflix has released the second official trailer of the superhero/crime drama. The first part focused on the introduction of Frank Castle aka The Punisher (Jon Bernthal). The second part shifts the spotlight on Elektra and her upcoming storyline. In the footage, Elektra and Daredevil team up in costume and under masks.

Interestingly, it seems like the new Big Bad has appeared as well. In the freshmen season, Wilson Fisk and Murdock butted heads as they fought for the soul of Hell's Kitchen. Now the criminal reign of terror comes from The Hand.

In the Marvel Universe, The Hand is a ninja order that serves a demon, referred to by members, as the Beast. The Hand has been spreading its dark influence over the world, and even contemplated recruiting young Matt into their organization. Does Daredevil need The Punisher's help when he takes on "The Rising" of the Beast?
