Netflix's Defenders shows have been successful with fans and critics alike, so far introducing three street-level superheroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. With the Avengers: Infinity Wars only a couple of years away, there's the possibility that Hell's Kitchen's superheroes will join in -- and Krysten Ritter would definitely be on board.

Comic Book caught up with Ritter last weekend at the Wizard World comic convention in Portland, and the site was understandably pretty psyched about meeting up with the Marvel superhero, not long after the second season of A.K.A. Jessica Jones was confirmed.

The guys at the site asked her if she'd reprise her role of the snide emotionally shutdown P.I. on the big screen, and her guess is as good as ours.

"Obviously, it'd be really exciting to be a part of those giant, huge movies with those great characters who are already established, so it'd be awesome. ... It'd be awesome if I got to pop up somewhere else," Ritter said. "There's always the chance that could happen. I don't really know, they don't tell me anything, so I'm totally stoked about the playground on Netflix."

When asked which of the Avengers she'd like to team up with if she were to join the cast of the Infinity Wars, Ritter revealed she'd go with Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man -- a fairly obvious choice. However, in the comic books, when the Civil War broke out between Iron Man and Capitan America, she and husband Luke Cage team up with Rogers instead, so if Ritter were to appear in an upcoming project, it'd be interesting to see how that's managed.

It's been rumored that the contracts of Marvel TV shows and movies are pretty different, which is why movie characters rarely appear on shows. Agents of SHIELD, the first MCU show, marks the notable exception, with three actors from the movieverse making appearances: Jaimie Alexander from the Thor movies (Lady Sif) and how Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders' Maria Hill often go between Avengers movies and TV.
