John Oliver, the host of HBO's Last Week Tonight, is finally tackling the 2016 elections and obviously, he's kicking it off by talking about the most controversial figure in the race: Donald Trump. In his latest monologue, Oliver doesn't only tear down Trump's candidacy but he's also starting a new campaign, #MakeDonaldDrumpfAgain, to have the former Celebrity Apprentice host change his last name back to that of his ancestors -- Drumpf.

Last year, Oliver appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to talk about current events and their experiences as former correspondents of The Daily Show. The British comedian said he wasn't even going to bother covering the campaign on his show until it was the actual year of elections. He's definitely delivered in the first two months of the year!

Last Sunday, Oliver finally addressed Trump's candidacy and his appeal to voters as the leading contender for the Republican nomination. Then host showcased a few clips of people voicing why Trump has become so popular and then, following his usual style, deconstructed each of Trump's supposed qualities with provable facts.

Some of Oliver's criticism included how Trump refused to even acknowledge white supremacist (and former KKK grand wizard) David Duke had endorsed him and how he's proved to be a notorious liar. In an interesting example, the host reminded everyone of the time Trump tweeted he'd refused to come to Last Week Tonight, while Oliver assures viewers that the candidate wasn't even invited to the show in the first place.

But the most interesting bit about his whole monologue (in which Oliver ranted for 22 minutes) was when the British host said that part of Trump's popularity was that his name sounded successful -- and at this point, he revealed that the original family name was, in fact, Drumpf, changed generations back.

Pointing out that Trump once criticized Oliver's former boss, Jon Stewart, for changing his name from Jonathan Leibowitz (because he should be "proud of his heritage"), Oliver called out to use the #MakeDonaldDrumpfAgain hashtag on Twitter in an effort to have the presidential nominee change his name back to that of his forefathers.

Olive revealed he and the crew were trying to get the name "Drumpf" trademarked and they'd also bought a website called DonaldJDrumpf.com which even sells merchandise with the "Make Donald Drumpf Again." The site also contains what could be the best idea to come out of this presidential raice: the Drumpfinator, a Google Chrome extension that changes "Trump" to "Drumpf" every time it appears on the browser.
