Ranveer Singh FaceTimes Deepika Padukone While Accepting Award on Her Behalf [WATCH]

The current toasts of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who are also rumoured to be dating each other, were recently seen facetiming on an award show as Singh had to receive an award on behalf of the tall and petite actress.

Padukone, who is currently in Toronto, Canada, shooting her debut Hollywood movie, xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage, opposite Hollywood action star Vin Diesel, recently bagged the Zee Cine Award for best actress in a lead role for her portrayal of Mastani in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani.

According to PinkVilla, as Padukone was unable to come to India to receive the award, her rumoured boyfriend, Singh, went up the stage as soon as her name was announced and received the award on the beautiful actress's behalf from the hands of veteran film director, Subhash Ghai. Not just that, he immediately facetimed Padukone and got her to talk to the audience and thank the organizers for the appreciation that came her way.

In a true gentlemanly gesture, Singh even held the microphone close to his phone so that everybody could hear his rumored girlfriend thank everyone loud and clear. This act went viral the moment the show was aired on the small screen.

Padukone, who signed her first Hollywood action project, will be seen playing the role of Serena and will even try out her stunt scenes herself. She was recently seen partying with her xXx 3 co-stars at Diesel's dinner party in Toronto. Her film is slated to release in 2017.

Meanwhile, the dashing Singh is in Paris, shooting YRF's head honcho's directorial venture, Befikre, where he will be seen sharing screen space with Shuddh Desi Romance actress Vani Kapoor for the first time in the lead.

Padukone and Singh have been rumoured to be dating each other since they met on the set of their award-winning period drama, Bajirao Mastani.
