Jenna Jameson Arrested, Charged with Battery Before Birthday Bash? Former Adult Star Still on Probation from DUI Last May

Former "adult" star, Jenna Jameson, received an early birthday present this year: an arrest and an alleged battery charge complete with a ride in the back of a cop car on Saturday night. This news comes not even a year after the star's earlier DUI incident earned her a three year probation sentence last summer.

TMZ first reported that the 38-year-old was in Newport Beach, CA this past Saturday preparing for some early birthday celebrations, when around 8 p.m. Jameson reportedly assaulted an unidentified victim in an Orange County home.

Newport Beach police Lt. Evan Sailor says the alleged victim put Jameson under citizen's arrest until police arrived at the home on the upscale Balboa Peninsula on Saturday night. 

In tweets that have since been deleted, the former porn star wrote that she was robbed by a friend who "broke into my home and took everything," states US Weekly.

Jameson, born Jenna Marie Massoli, was given a court date to face a misdemeanor battery charge and released on her own recognizance, notes AP. She was scheduled to appear at Heat Ultra Lounge in Orange County, on Saturday for an official birthday celebration, but it is not known if she actually attended the party after the incident. Her 39th birthday is this Tuesday, April 9th.

This is not the first time that Jameson has sported handcuffs. Back in May, Jameson was arrested for drunken driving after hitting a light pole in Westminster. She reportedly pleaded guilty in August was sentenced to three years' informal probation.

"On May 25th I made one of the most terrible mistakes of my life, I want to apologize to everyone. I am focusing on being a mother to my twin boys and I appreciate all of my friends and family who have stood by me," Jameson wrote in a statement on her Facebook page.

Jameson retired from the adult film industry in 2008, and welcomed twins Jesse and Journey in March 2009. Jameson and the twins' father, mixed martial artist Tito Ortiz, split last year.
