Dancing with the Stars is about to get political, as the cast for Season 22 has just been revealed and includes none other than presidential hopeful Donald Trump's second ex-wife, Marla Maples.

The two were married from 1993 to 1999 and have a daughter together, but what America is really curious to know is how does the republican candidate feel about his ex joining the ABC reality series?

Well according to Us Weekly, Trump is extremely happy that America will get to see his ex twirl around on the dance floor with partner Tony Dovolani when the new season premieres later this year.

"I think it is wonderful," the 69-year-old businessman-turned-politician explained. "I am very happy for her and think she will do very well."

While there is no word yet if Trump will be making an appearance in the audience to cheer Maples on, it is being rumored that one of the contestants is actually planning to impersonate the entrepreneur during one of the weeks of the competition.

In fact, it is political commentator Geraldo Rivera who will be dressing up as Trump during Latin week with his partner Edyta Śliwińska.

"During Latin Week, Geraldo is planning to do a dance where he's dressed up like Trump and his partner Edyta will be dressed as Melania!" according to Intrendio.

We are sure that the addition of Maples to the cast will definitely capitalize on the publicity that Trump has gained since announcing his run for presidency.

According to ABCNews joining Maples on the dance floor will be Full House star Jodie Sweetin, as well as Good Morning America host Ginger Zee, as well as Boyz II Men singer Wanya Morris.

Tune in to Dancing with the Stars when the series returns for its 22nd season on March 21.
