Things aren't always what they seem apparently. Just days after news broke that Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora would not be performing on upcoming Bon Jovi tour shows, the reason why has already changed. It was originally speculated that Jon Bon Jovi and Sambora were not getting along too well and there were some financial reasons behind the decision. Now it's being reported that Sambora's drinking is what caused him to be kicked off the tour by Jon.

According to an article from the New York Post, Sambora's issues with alcohol have been coming up again. This time, it sounds like his issues may have led to him being kicked off the tour. Sambora has a well known past with alcohol and stints in rehab. An insider tells the Post, "Jon [Bon Jovi] has been trying to get rid of him. He drinks constantly and has a stream of Hollywood bimbos around all the time." It almost sounds like it was actually Jon Bon Jovi's wife Dorothea who may have had a part in Richie's ouster. According to the report, Dorothea wants the rock band's latest tour to be free of alcohol and drugs.

The article even speculates that Sambora isn't even trying to stay sober anymore. "He told me that he didn't believe in rehab," an source told the Post. These are all rumors still at this point, it was just a few days ago people thought Sambora and Bon Jovi were disagreeing over money. Who knows if this report is any more true than the previous one.

The New York Post speculates that Sambora may have started drinking again after the failure of his clothing line White Trash Beautiful. Sambora also reportedly spent some of his own money on his solo album "Aftermath of the Lowdown" which has been a disappointment. Do you think Sambora was kicked off the Bon Jovi tour due to drinking or is there something else going on?
