Jay-Z's 'Made in America' Festival 2013 will be returning to Philadelphia's Benjamin Franklin Parkway this Labor Day weekend. The official dates (August 31st-September 1st) for the rapper's second annual two-day musical event have been announced today, and this year's lineup will be unveiled via Spotify on Wednesday April 10th at 12pm.

Beyonce's man is allowing Philly to be "reintroduced" the Budweiser-sponsored festival once again in 2013, following its inaugural "artistic and commercial success" last year. The festival brought more than thirty acts to three stages along the Franklin Parkway in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art-- one of the most scenic streets in Philadelphia, notes The Star Ledger.

About 40,000 people attended each of the two days of the 2012 'Made in America' festival which featured an eclectic list of performers hand-selected by the superstar rapper himself. It included Skrillex, Drake, Pearl Jam, Otto Knows, Calvin Harris, Passion Pit, Janelle Monae, Odd Future, and of course Jay and Kanye West as "The Throne," and was also was home to an epic Run-DMC reunion.

This year's lineup is expected to be even better than 2012's impressive list of varied performers, but we'll have to wait until Wednesday to see what Jay-Z has in store for Philly with this anticipated follow-up festival.

According to Huffington Post, city officials said last year's 'Made in America' generated at least $10 million in economic impact for the city and covered all municipal costs associated with the event.

If you missed the "cray" festival last year, here's some highlights from 'Made in America' 2012:

In other Jay-Z news, it was also reported by Rolling Stone today that the rapper has moved his Roc Nation label to Universal Music Group, inking a new multi-year deal. According to a press release from Reuters, Roc Nation will be a standalone label under the Universal umbrella. Roc Nation branched out with a new sports agency arm last week, signing New York Yankees all-star second baseman Robinson Canó as its first client.

The new father and entrepreneur seems to have a busy summer ahead of him. In addition to his 'Made in America' Festival, the rapper will also be touring with Justin Timberlake in their stadium tour 'Legends of the Summer,' kicking off in July. Be sure to catch the legendary Jay-Z "go hard" at at least one of his multiple performances this summer.
