Making a Murderer has just taken another turn with a member of the group Stop Wrongful Convictions calling out the bone evidence collected not belonging to Teresa Halbach.

The Netflix series has sparked tons of controversy with how Manitowoc County handled the investigation and has left many disgusted. The case has left many people questioning the American judicial system as Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey currently sit in prison under questionable evidence.

Ever since the Netflix series premiered, many people have rallied for Dassey and Avery. While none of us here have law degrees, watching the series you can easily see that something is not right. Lawyers for the two convicted felons have spoken out about their client's innocence and now with this new evidence, Dassey and Avery may be steps closer to freedom.

According to the Morning Ledger, the case has taken a sharp turn with evidence pointing to bone fragments found at the scene not belonging to Halbach.

The site reports that Lynne Blanchard of Stop Wrongful Convictions has stated that DNA expert Sherry Culhane's findings were questionable because she only had a partial profile. The bones found in the fire pit can no way be 100 percent proven that they belong to Halbach. Blanchard strongly believes that the findings are inconclusive and questionable.

"The DNA evidence described above is not conclusive," Blanchard tells Morning Ledger. "How is it even possible for tissue to survive a fire that disintegrated 60% of the bone mass? The teeth which are commonly used to identify a body because the outlast bone didn't eve survive the fire."

This new development speaks volumes to Dassey and Brendan's claims that they did not have anything to do with the Halbach murder. The investigation within itself had multiple flaws but with new attorneys in the mix it is only a matter of time before the truth comes out.
