Frozen 2 finally got the green light from Disney and the movie is moving into production in April 2016. However, the upcoming musical film will not feature a song like Idina Menzel's "Let it Go." And if the recent sequel updates are true, then there will be no duet at all in the upcoming animated film.

In a recent interview with E! Online, 35-year-old Kristen Bell, who gives voice to Princess Anna, revealed that Frozen 2 will be musical. But there will be no such song that can compete with Frozen's "Let it Go." The actress, who has also given voice to Priscilla in the recently release, Zootopia, admitted that there will be many songs that will be featuref in Frozen 2. She also hinted that there will be no duet that will feature Princess Anna and Elsa. It looks like, Disney does not want to take risk success over a song, as it has often seen that fans start to compare the new movie with its highly successful installment.

"I think there's going to be a lot of great songs in the next movie but I don't know if any of them will top "Let It Go," Bell said.

Upon its release, "Let it Go" song from Frozen became an instant hit. Among the other breakthroughs from the Disney in making Frozen was creating a song like "Let it Go." The song has been selling well among the top five songs of all popular platforms and has received many accolades including an Academy for the Best Original Song and a Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media.

Composed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the song forced the production team to reconceptualize and rewrite Elsa as a far more vulnerable and sympathetic character. According to TheTelegraph, instead of the villain envisioned by the producers, Kristen and Robert saw Elsa as "a scared girl struggling to control and come to terms with her gifts."

In March 2015, Variety reported that Disney has officially announced a sequel to Frozen with Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee returning as directors and Del Vecho heading back as the producer.
