Ne-Yo & Crystal Renay's Son Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr. Looks Just Like the Singer [PHOTOS]

Ne-Yo fans just can't get enough of the singer's newborn son. Apparently, little Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr. takes after his father, and has his looks! While getting used to motherhood, Crystal Renay and her husband haven't been shy with the cameras. They have been posting non stop since their bundle of joy arrived. In the photo above, Renay gushed about the love she feels for her new son. She wrote: "I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS LIL MAN! Now I know what it means to have your heart walk around outside of your body.." Just hours after their baby was born, Renay shared a video of baby Smith trying to get in a nap. Warning! The video is too adorable.

She also posted a photo getting in some bonding time with her son doing the "skin to skin" method.

Renay wrote a touching message to the baby boy that said: "Everything became so clear to me when you were placed in my arms. In a matter of moments it all changed. I am changed because of you, my prince." She continued, "Things that were once important now matter no more. My focus is you and my life is yours. You are the difference in me! I love you more than life itself and I'm going to make you proud to call me mommy."

 MStars News previously reported that Renay gave birth to her first child with the singer last week. Baby Smith was born on Tuesday, March 15. Although this is the first child for Renay, baby Smith makes number three for Ne-Yo. The singer has two older children with his ex-fiancee, Monyetta Shaw. The children are named Mason Evan, age 4, and Madilyn Grace, age 5.

Before Renay gave birth, she suffered plenty of headaches from critics who apparently were upset with Ne-Yo. If you watched Atlanta Exes about two years ago, Shaw claimed that she got her tubes tied believing that she was going to marry Ne-Yo and because he said he didn't want anymore children in the future.

But life changed. Ne-Yo actually moved on and is now a father once again. Things also were a bit ugly when fans wanted to know why his children weren't present during his February wedding to Renay. Shaw claimed that her kids had a very important schedule that day that was related to their future education.

Hopefully, the arrival of the new baby will help some with the sticky situation as baby Smith seems to be getting settled into life outside of the womb just fine.
