According to Rolling Stones rocker/guitarist Keith Richards, modern pop sensations like Rihanna and Adele don't have what it takes to write all of their own music. But is "showbiz" songwriting such a bad thing?

During a recent interview with Time Out London, the 72-year-old guitarist seemed to downgrade both musicians' talents and strengths as songwriters:

"Well, they can't rely on themselves, can they?"

The "Paint It Black" superstar then continues:

"We're in the midst of a heavy-duty "showbiz" period, even stronger than when we killed it last time... 'The X Factor' and all this competition sh*t. It's just for people who want to be famous. Well, if it's fame you want, good luck. You'd better learn to live with it" (via UK's Metro).

Do MstarsNews readers think that Richard sounds a bit pessimistic? Wonder if he's actually researched any of the credits on the "Hello" crooner's albums...

Meanwhile, Richards continues touring South America with the Stones. The English band plans on debuting their highly-anticipated 30th studio album later this year, although details surrounding the unnamed project still remain a msytery. This will be their first release since 2005's epic A Bigger Bang.

Meanwhile, RiRi might have other (more important) things on the mind rather than having to worry about Richards' viral blast. Does she want a baby with Drake?

"Rihanna really has the mommy urge, and Drake is completely on board with the idea," an alleged Life & Style magazine insider explains. "They've talked about how cute their kids would be. They know they'll be forever linked if they have a child, and they are ok with that... She says [Drake's] a grown man and he's responsible compared to her exes like Chris Brown. She thinks he'll make the perfect dad. They've talked about having adjoining mansions in Barbados so they could co-parent and hook up whenever they wanted."
