The fifteenth episode of The Walking Dead Season 6 ended with the most shocking cliffhanger since the alleged death of Steven Yeun's Glenn in "Thank You" last year. Although fans have probably gotten used to possible death scenarios in the sixth season alone, there is still nothing that could prepare anyone for Daryl Dixon's (Norman Reedus) untimely capture by Dwight, who then shoots him in the chest/heart/shoulder/any other significant body part that could cause enough blood spatter to blot out an entire camera shot.

But is Daryl dead? Is it finally time to gather the pitchforks and torches and just go crazy as promised if the beloved character meets his demise? The rage may have to wait until the season finale, because of Dwight's unusual last line: "You'll be alright."

There are several (hopeful) speculations that Daryl was simply shot in the shoulder or arm to incapacitate him enough for the capture. After all, weren't Glenn and Michonne (Danai Gurira) tied up instead of being executed immediately? Although there are some fans who think that Dwight was talking to Rosita (Christian Serratos) instead of Daryl. There is hope that Daryl may have survived since it was clear that he didn't get a headshot.

"East" may have been about been the episode that sets the mood for the season finale, where Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan will finally make his debut. However, it also left so many questions open as to who will be his first victim on the AMC show. Based on the episode, the Saviors have custody of Glenn, Michonne, Rosita and Daryl, but have they also captured Carol (Melissa McBride), who just went AWOL in the middle of the episode?

Which major character do you think will be killed off next? Let us know in the comments and tune in to the final episode of The Walking Dead Season 6, which airs on April 3.
