'TBBT' Recap S09E18: Sheldon Finally Respects Howard & Raj's in a Love Triangle [SPOILERS]

Tonight, The Big Bang Theory's returning to CBS after a two-week absence so, in case you missed out the only other episode from March, "The Application Deterioration," it's time to check out what everyone's favorite nerds have been up to! In the S09E18 recap with spoilers, Sheldon, Leonard and Howard make a deal to work together ... and Raj tries to decide between Emily and Claire!

After finding out Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz (Melissa Rauch) is pregnant, Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) has been trying to see where to get enough money, and ended up running into an idea for a patent alongside Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper (Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons).

At the beginning of the episode, the three friends go to the university's patent office and find out they can't get very large profits: Caltech gets 75 percent of profits, and the remaining 25 goes to Leonard and Sheldon, with nothing to Howard because he's not an university employee but rather a loan from NASA.

They ultimately reach an agreement: they'll Leonard and Sheldon's 25 percent three ways, which of course means Sheldon gets to make a contract, written in his own font, of course: Shelvetica.

Bernadette points out to Howard that he's tried to work with Sheldon in the past and time and again, he puts down his efforts as unimportant, which makes Howard think of not going through the deal. Sheldon acts surprisingly sweet, and he makes an addendum saying he'll have to be respectful to Howard ... and he'll donate his percentage to a trust fund of the Wolowitz baby.

On the episode's alternate storyline, Raj Koothrapali (Kunal Nayyar) receives a belated Valentine's Day present from recent ex Emily (Laura Spencer). He's unsure about her intentions when she gets him something super thoughtful, so he asks the girls. In all, he's told Emily is definitely trying to booty call him into getting back together -- so, of course, he flees to her.

When he's on the way to meet his ex, Raj gets a call from Claire (Alessandra Torresani), the woman he dumped Emily for. She's now available after she'd bounced back to her ex, and even she thinks Raj is walking into a trap with Emily.

Raj does some back and forth on whether to console Emily because she's too sad about their breakup or hang out with Claire, calling each of them, with Claire saying Emily was obviously trying to manipulate him.

Raj is weak, so he ultimately goes over Emily's and the two sleep together, a couple once more.
