CW's Legends Of Tomorrow S01E09 Left Behind Caity Lotz, Wentworth Miller Premiere Recap

The CW Network continues with the premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. In episode 8, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) join White Canary (Caity Lotz) as they take the fight to Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) in Left Behind.

Kronos takes over the Waverider and time-jumps the ship. In the shoot-out with Chronos, Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jax (Franz Drameh) merge as Firestorm. Chorines has decided to kidnap Captain Cold and sabotage the navigating system. The Waverider ends up slipping into the time-stream.

Canary, the Atom, (Brandon Routh) and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) argue whether or not the team is coming back. 10 days have passed as Ray Palmer attempts to build a time The couple is happy beacon to call the Waverider. Ten weeks later, Ray's machine blows up in smoke. Candy has lost hope that their teammates will return because they're all dead.

Canary leaves Atom and Hawkgirl behind as they pick up their lives two years later. Just when Ray is about to propose, the time beacon starts working. Arriving in the 60s, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) lands the Waverider and apologizes for being late. 

Atom has made a new life for himself, but returning to the mission is too hard for him. Elsewhere, Captain Cold wakes up in Chronos' spaceship, chained up to the wall. Meanwhile, Canary is back with Ra's Al Ghul and training with the League of Assassins. She meets young Talia, the future love of Batman. 

Chronos takes off his mask and reveals himself to be Heat Wave. Captain Cold left Mick in the woods and knocked him out. He was supposed to come back for him but the Time Master found Heat Wave first. Heat Wave was then reborn as Chronos.

Atom and Hawkgirl realize Canary went backwards and sought home with League of Assassins. Heat Wave is interested in killing Cold's sister over and over again. After waking her up, Canary beats the crap out of Hunter and calls out the League. 

Canary then takes the rest of the team as prisoners. Hawkgirl reveals her powers and wings have been dormant; she lost herself. Hunter demands a trial by combat from Ra's Al Ghul. Hawkgirl will have to fight Canary for the ives of the team. 

As the two slash their swords, Cold shoots his hand frozen and breaks it. Hawk girl pleads with Sara, reminding her that she is the White Canary. All of a sudden, Heat Wave arrives, shooting down the Assassins. 

To save the League, Ra's Al Ghul releases Hunter and the others. The entire teams takes a swipe at Chronos, putting him down. After taking off his helmet, Canary knocks out Heat Wave. Ra's Al Ghul realizes Canary is from the future and her soul is divided. She asks for Nyssa to find her int he future. 

With Rory in the cell, Hunter believes he can reform him. After Ray kisses Ciara, Hunter takes the team to the future to take on Savage.
