'Jimmy Eat World,' the talented pop-rock band that gave us hits like "The Middle" and "Hear You Me," has just premiered their newest song today entitled "I Will Try to Steal You Back." Their latest single is the first to be released off of their upcoming album 'Damage,' which will make its debut June 11th (preview the TRACKLIST below).

In addition, 'Jimmy Eat World' has also announced their initial World Tour Dates (kicking off May 17th in San Diego, CA) where the band will promoting their newest & 8th studio album and celebrating their 20th anniversary, reports AntiMusic.

'Damage' is described by frontman Jim Adkins as an "adult break-up record." Speaking to Rolling Stone about the album, the singer said: "I hate saying more raw, but it's more raw and warm."

Stone describes the new single "I Will Steal You Back," as an expectedly emotional new track that glides with rumbling bass and wisps of frontman Jim Adkins' vocals. But the chorus sweeps all that away, thundering down swiftly with tall guitars and Adkins' cries of refusal to lose out on love.

The 'Jimmy Eat World' frontman adds, "Love songs are what make rock 'n' roll go around," he said. "It's just sort me trying to take an honest look at what that might be in an older context. In a non-bubblegum kind of way. It's also kind of more about bettering ourselves in the process. It's about focusing on making decision instead of just resolutions."

The digital single is set to be released next Tuesday, April 16th. Listen to it here and let us know what you think! Also scroll down to preview the TRACKLIST for 'Damage' & upcoming TOUR DATES for Jimmy Eat's World's "home-state tour" and world tour.
