Disney's CGI/live-action version of Rudyard Kipling's classic The Jungle Book will be out in theaters in just a few weeks. And with each bit of released footage, the film looks more fascinatingly beautiful. In the recent IMAX trailer, Scarlett Johansson's voice takes the shape of giant python enchantress Kaa, who looks both terrifying and charming to Mowgli.

Disney released the new trailer for the film through Moviefone, introduced by Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o, who voices Raksha in the film.

On the trailer, which runs for 3:31 minutes, Mowgli (newcomer actor Neel Sethi) first meets Kaa (Johansson through motion capture), a fascinating snake who allures him into her fangs. Much like Scherezade, the snake bids her time telling Mowgli stories ... on this case, the story of how he came to be a child of the jungle, showing him the murder of his parents by Sher Kahn (Idris Elba).

The film, directed by Jon Favreau, has a truly impressive voice cast that includes a few Oscar winners. Aside from the aforementioned Johansson, Elba and Nyong'o, other voice actors include Bill Murray, Christopher Walken, Giancarlo Esposito and Ben Kingsley.

While this version of The Jungle Book is a reimagining of Kipling's classic tale, it will partially be based on the 1967 animated Disney film of the same name.

"Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan, who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat," reads the film's synopsis, via Comic Book. "Urged to abandon the only home he's ever known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera, and the free-spirited bear Baloo."

As Disney continues to promote the film, the studio has also released a clip revolving around Walken's character, King Louie. It's always a joy to hear the actor's voice doing anything, even if he's just offering fruit.

The Jungle Book will be out in theaters on April 15.
