Tatyana Ali and Dr. Vaughn Rasberry Getting Married! Pregnant Actress Planning Summer Wedding

Tatyana Ali is letting her baby bump show! After revealing that she was pregnant with her first child and engaged to an English Professor at Stanford University, Dr. Vaughn Rasberry, the mom-to-be is truly glowing while planning a summer wedding!

Ali graced the stage and the red carpet over the weekend at the Black Girls Rock awards. The 37-year-old actress attended the event where she presented the "Young, Gifted and Black award" to Amandla Stenberg during the 10th annual event. Black Girls Rock honors African American women who rock all over the country.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Ali is planning on getting married some time this summer. "Planning our wedding has been so exciting, but when we found out we were expecting, our perspective shifted completely," the bride-to-be said. "We want our ceremony to really celebrate our newest blessing! Plus, I have the best wedding planner, Michael Russo. He's making everything so fun and stress free!"

Ali and Dr. Rasberry first crossed paths almost two years ago. The couple met online while trying to find someone on the dating site, eHarmony. "Vaughn and I met on eHarmony!" Ali revealed. "It was my first time dating online."

Keeping in touch by love letters, the two finally decided to give it a shot and the rest is history. "We wrote letters for months before we decided to Skype. And then, of course, met."

After falling in love, Dr. Rasberry proposed in the most romantic way. "He took me on a 45 minute hike in the Redwoods [in Yosemite, California], which he knows I absolutely love," Ali described. "And proposed in the most picturesque clearing. Just the two of us. It was so thoughtful and perfect. We're best friends."

The excited actress revealed her wonderful news on Facebook back on March 31. She thanked all of her supporters and wrote: "Thanks so much to everyone wishing us well, it means so much! I'm so excited for this new chapter. Wife and mommy all at the same time. Luckily, I'll be sharing the adventure with my best friend. We feel so blessed."
